Our Team
Rebecca Wong Kai Pun
Speech Language Pathologist
I believe in meeting each child where they are, whether that’s in their words, their gestures, or their silences, and working together to unlock their fullest communication potential.
At the heart of my practice is creating safe spaces for children to express themselves freely. I aim to build trusting relationships where children feel valued, seen, and understood. My work is driven by the belief that every child has a unique voice, and it’s my job to help them find it.
If you’re looking for affirming, relationship-based support for your child, I’d love to hear from you.
I look forward to walking alongside your family on your journey.
Rebecca’s Approach
Rebecca would love to support your child with a variety of communication needs, including:
Speech clarity
Early communication development
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) use
Social communication and language skills
Rebecca has seen firsthand how play fosters language and communication, and she integrates this into therapy by facilitating child-led and co-created play experiences that empower children to express themselves in a natural, enjoyable way.
Rebecca particularly enjoys working with neurodivergent kids as well as hesitant or shy communicators. She finds immense joy in helping families build authentic relationships, where connection and understanding take center stage.
Outside the Therapy Room
You can often find me spending time out on my deck, taking a deep breath in a forest, or curled up with a good book and a chai latte. I love spending time with my children and seeing the world through their eyes.
Tanya Gabriele
Occupational Therapist
I’m passionate about creating inclusive, compassionate, and collaborative spaces where children feel safe, seen, and celebrated. With over 6 years of experience supporting children and families in clinic, home, school, and outdoor settings, I bring a strengths-based and play-based approach to therapy.
My work is grounded in the power of connection and relationship to support growth and wellbeing.
Together, we can create a space for your child to thrive and develop their unique voice.
Let’s get started on a journey of growth, connection, and communication.

Outside the Therapy Room
When I’m not supporting children and families, you’ll find me hiking with my dog, reading, or exploring new places. Nature has always been a place of calm and connection for me, and I love weaving it into therapy to support joy, regulation, and growth.
Tova Vertes
Literacy Specialist
I believe in working with, not against, how neurodivergent brains learn. Through playful, multisensory, brain-based activities, I build underlying learning skills while maintaining dignity in the learning process. As a parent of a neurodivergent child myself, I understand this journey both professionally and personally.
I combine the proven structure of Orton-Gillingham with a play-based, child-centered approach that meets kids where they are. That means systematic, explicit instruction in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension—but delivered through games, movement, and activities that feel more like fun than "work." Because here's the thing: when learning feels good, progress follows naturally.
Reading struggles aren't about "not trying hard enough."
They're about brains that need instruction delivered differently—through movement, play, and multisensory experiences that build both skills and confidence.
Tova’s Approach
Tova would love to support your child with:
Reading skills: Decoding, fluency, comprehension—building a strong foundation through structured literacy approaches
Spelling and writing: Handwriting development, written expression, and executive functioning support for getting ideas on paper
Learning differences: Dyslexia, ADHD, autism, AuDHD, and other profiles where traditional teaching methods haven't clicked
Confidence rebuilding: Helping kids who've started to believe "I'm just bad at reading" rediscover their capable, curious selves
Tova’s background in pediatric rehabilitation gives her extra insight into the sensory, motor, and language-processing pieces that affect reading. She works with students across the learning spectrum—creating a space where they can build skills AND confidence without sacrificing their dignity or joy in learning.
Every session is designed to be engaging and achievable, building on what's going well while gently stretching into new territory. Together, you’ll move, you’ll play, and connection comes first—leaving the worksheet-heavy, paper-and-pencil approach behind in favor of solid instruction wrapped in relationship and joy.
Outside the Therapy Room
When I'm not working with kids and families, you'll find me with my own child, exploring new places with my dog, or curled up with a good book (because yes, I'm a total book nerd—and I want your child to love reading too).
Nature has always been a grounding, calming space for me, and I love how this setting helps kids feel safe, regulated, and ready to learn.
